To restore the lost charm of an existing neighborhood parlour by upscaling it’s ambiance and services, to attract the young crowd, a complete redesign of the space was necessary.
Architectural renovation Within the 450 sqft floor space, three zones were created – the innermost zone having therapy rooms and a toilet with maximum privacy, the outermost zone having styling stations and a waiting area with maximum visibility and the middle zone having pedicure and shampoo stations having lesser visibility and some privacy. This was effective in pulling in new clients and provided the necessary privacy where required. Additionally, two convertible pods were created for private bridal makeover services. Besides, departing from the commonly used model photos and graphics, hand-painted artworks are used to portray ‘beauty’ through the traditional imageries of wellness and self-care.
